Glenna Dee Grandy Carter, 74, at home, under the watchful care of her loved ones, passed away due to compilations from a massive stroke, thus ending her life’s journey here on earth.
Glenna was born November 20, 1943, in Tremonton UT, to Edna Munns and DeWitt Carl Grandy. She was the third-eldest of eight children born into her family.
April 23, 1965, she married James LeRoy Carter in Linden, UT; February 20, 1982, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Provo LDS temple.
She is survived by her husband of over 50 years; daughter, DeAnn (Jeff) Rappleye; son, James (Shawnna) Carter; 10 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, five siblings, several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous others she claimed as children, having been adopted into her heart as her own.
Glenna was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and a nephew.
Her viewing will be from 11:45-12:45 pm, followed by a service Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Anderson Mortuary, 49 E. 100 N., American Fork.
